The Test4Retina questionnaire was developed with the aim of helping medical specialists in in the evaluation and detection of risk factors for the development of AMD in all patients.
Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the main cause of loss of central vision in the population
over 55 years of age in western developed countries. Different studies have shown the impact different
risk factors have on the onset and development of the disease. Some of these factors are age, family story, smoking
and diet among others.
Test4Retina is a questionnaire developed and
validated by Théa Laboratories that allows an evaluation of the presence of individual
risk factors associated with the development of AMD. Through 15 simple questions about life habits and clinical history, this questionnaire
allows you
to detect with a high degree of accuracy the probaaccuracy the presence of risk factors ass with the probability that a person could develop advanced AMD in the next 5 years.
